Aslef Confirm Strike On 26 November, Impacting 12 Operators Not Scotrail
10th November 2022
Aslef has announced that train drivers at 12 operators will strike for 24 hours on Saturday, 26 November in rows over pay.
The announcement came today, after the union confirmed that it was still waiting for an improved pay offer from employers, despite a series of long-running talks.
Aslef general secretary Mick Whelan said: "We regret that passengers will be inconvenienced for another day. We don't want to be taking this action. Withdrawing our labour is always a last resort for a trade union.
The operators that will feel the impact of the strikes are:
Avanti West Coast
Chiltern Railways
CrossCountry
East Midlands Railway
Great Western Railway
Greater Anglia
London North Eastern Railway
London Overground
Northern Trains
Southeastern
Transpennine Express
West Midlands Trains
